The Gap Within

It's been very long since my last update. Didn't really had the time to sit here and write for long. It was heck of a busy week(s). Still have one last term paper to write for hybridoma. Had IL2 practical test just now. It was okay I guess.

I bought a new phone!! I am so stressed that I even forgot to mention this!! urgh..its a Nokia 6610i, yeah I know its nothing fancy and all..but hey, I got a new phone! hahah..my sister bought a Sony Ericsson T630. Its black by the way. Really cool looking. Oh mine's blue and silver. Forgot to mention. (see what i mean??)

Studied a little of Proteomics just now and went on with typing my resume and stuff. Took up so much time. Urgh..thought of going back to studying, but too tired. Will do that tomorrow.

Console Me My Dear Console

I got my Xbox! I got my Xbox! HAhahHahahahha!! Can't wait to get my hands on a few games and start playing! WOOHOO!! Okay, enough of the excitement. The printer that I bought along with this new com, it doesn't come with a USB cable that connects the printer to the com. So since I went to funan to collect the Xbox, I took the opportunity to get the cable too. Being the smart person that I am, heheh, I went over to the Canon shop first to confirm the type of USB cable that I should buy. And being the absent-minded person that I can sometimes be, I forgot to check the type of fit on the printer. So the staff at canon said that I can use ANY USB cable. I then asked him whether there's any SPECIFIC cable for that printer model. He said that I can use ANY. So there I was, at the Challenger upstairs, looking for ANY USB cable. I saw one, that seemed to look like the normal one I use. And it was 4.80. So I got that..then when I was at home, ready to install the printer, I realised that it couldn't fit! Damn it. How nice..Now I hafta go and get ANOTHER type of cable. why couldn't have Canon just gave it together with the package??!! Urgh..But nvm, I am still gleaming with happiness about my new ownership of a Limited Crystal Edition Xbox Game Console!!

Cinema Passes Anyone?

On Friday, I went for an interview for the Customer Service Staff position for Eng Wah Organisation at West Mall. Went together with Hazuru, Sarah and Zijun. That night, I got a call from the cinema manager (who was also the one who interviewed us) informing me to go for the second interview.
So today, I went to Orchard Towers for that purpose. The interviewer was Chelsea, the HR executive. The whole thing was very pleasant. She was very nice. She said that I'll make a good salesman cause I speak well (?). The funny thing was that, she asked me what kind of movies I watch, and I said comedies. So she said, "hmm, then I suggest you don't go and watch them first because I think you'd be getting the job and you can use your staff pass" Hahah..I was like, "Cool!"..Anyways, The thing is, I got the job! Woohoo!! I start this Thursday.

Ooh, before I forget, I brought home a baby crayfish today. Took it from the aqua lab. Sasi and Gabe's crayfishes had little babies..there were soo many of 'em. Rekha named hers Pinky and she died a little while later cause she asked her to take a nap..But Rekha thought she was sleeping permanently. I think she went into a coma, but too late. She flushed it down the sink. Mine's called Poopy. He's still up and about though..Gave it some honey biscuit crumbs to munch on. Heheh..Don't know what to feed it.
